Kevin Wedegaertner, a retired maintenance mechanic, passed away March 18, 2021.
Wedegaertner began his career at California Correctional Institution in January 2000, where he remained until retiring in August 2016.
“CCI extends our deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to Kevin’s family and friends. He will be missed in our community and remembered by many,” said Warden (A) B. Cates.
Services were held at Bakersfield National Cemetery in April 2021.
