Yellow ribbons commemorate Crime Victims’ Rights Week at LAC

Lt. Karla Graves pinned a yellow ribbon on Sgt. Jemison in honor of National Crime Victims' Rights Week.

California State Prison, Los Angeles County, (LAC) kicked off National Crime Victims’ Rights Week (NCVRW) by handing out yellow ribbons. The small ribbons were supplied by the Office of Victim and Survivor Rights and Services.

Sgt. D. Jemison, a 30-year veteran of the department, pledged to wear the ribbon to mark the NCVRW 40th anniversary. Lt. Karla Graves did the honors of pinning the ribbon on Sgt. Jemison’s uniform.
