CTF donates $40k to Special Olympics

CTF inmates present a donation to Special Olympics.
CTF's incarcerated population donated over $40,000 to Special Olympics Northern California.

As the Correctional Training Facility (CTF) donates over $40,000 to Special Olympics Northern California, it marks the largest donation ever received by the non-profit from fundraising efforts led by incarcerated persons.

The CTF incarcerated population raised the money in May with a donation drive and food sale to benefit the charity.

Since 2018, CTF has rallied in support of Special Olympics of Northern California. The non-profit organization provides year-round training and competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports. The athletes are children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

From 2018-2021, the incarcerated population regularly donates to Special Olympics, with CTF raising $65,633 for the non-profit.
