Naresh Mittal, an office assistant at Avenal State Prison since April 2014, suddenly passed away. January 27, 2022.
Mittal worked in the Avenal prison mailroom. Recently he started helping in the Inmate Assignment Office.
He is survived by his wife of 15 years, a son and daughter from a previous marriage, and three grandchildren.
“Mittal was loved and respected by all who knew him and had the pleasure of working with him. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time,” according to Avenal State Prison management.
