Ralph Hunter, a retired correctional officer, passed away February 18, 2022. He began his CDCR career in June 1996 as a cadet at the RA McGee Correctional Training Center. After graduation, he reported to North Kern State Prison, where he remained until retiring in January 2012.
“Ralph was admired and respected by all who had the chance to work with him. Ralph will be missed greatly by all. Please keep the Hunter family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time,” according to a statement issued by prison leadership.
