Anthony Deliz, a retired correctional officer, passed away February 7, 2022. He began his career as a cadet at the RA McGee Correctional Training Facility in October 1998.
After graduation, he reported for duty at CSP-Corcoran State Prison in November 1998. He transferred to Pelican Bay State Prison in April 1999, where he remained until retiring in April 2010.
“Pelican Bay State Prison extends our most sincere condolences to Office Deliz’s family. Anthony will be missed by all,” according to a statement issued by prison leadership.
A celebration of life will be held March 18 at 2 pm, Redding Memorial Park, 1275 Continental Street, Redding.
