Retired Correctional Plant Supervisor Salvador Mijangos passed away March 1, 2022.
He started his CDCR career in April 1999 at Avenal State Prison as the Industrial Supervisor.
He then transferred to California City Correctional Facility as Correctional Plant Supervisor in November 2014. He remained there until retiring in September 2020.
“Sal will be deeply missed by all who had the opportunity to work with him. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time,” according to a statement issued by the institution.
