Benefits fair at CIM offered food, information and a chance for coworkers to visit.

On September 28, the Chino Valley Employees’ Association (CVEA) at the California Institution for Men (CIM) hosted the annual Employee Health and Benefits Fair. It was the first time the fair was held in over two years because of the pandemic.

The event was an opportunity for staff to obtain information regarding their open-enrollment options as well as meet and speak with vendors who offer a variety of goods and services that promote not only physical health but mental and financial health as well. The event consisted of over 32 different vendors, a DJ, and free food for attendees.

Staff said they appreciated the event, reinforcing a positive attitude is instrumental to employee health.

Warden James S. Hill attended the event and shared the afternoon meeting and greeting staff and vendors alike. He said, “It was great to engage with staff at the health and benefit fair, after a two year COVID-19 hiatus.”

CIM would like to thank the CVEA for all their efforts in making this event a success.
