South Valley Battle of Badges Blood Drive gets PVSP help

Pleasant Valley State Prison (PVSP) and the Central California Blood Center partnered up for the 21st Annual South Valley Battle of the Badges Blood Drive.

This year, the blood center devoted November to local first responders to raise awareness and save lives. The blood drive presents a great opportunity to work together to make a greater impact in our community during a critical time of the year. Last year, the blood center was able to save 2,200 lives.

“Our staff understand the importance of an event like this and the effect it has on our communities. It is such a humbling act for a great cause and I appreciate all staff that participated,” said acting Warden Tristan Lemon.
