A new Staff Services Manager Training Academy is part of the effort to train high quality supervisors and leaders at the Division of Rehabilitative Programs (DRP).
The first session was held on Jan. 18. The DRP Staff Services Manager academy consists of 12 in-person daylong sessions over the course of the year. Session topics include Crucial Conversations, Emotional Intelligence, Fostering a Team Environment, and Leadership, in addition to other subjects.
The training is facilitated by Rod Braly, Regional Associate Superintendent for the Office of Correctional Education.
