North Kern State Prison (NKSP) recruiters had a busy day March 10 when they took part in a school career day.

Cesar Chavez High School in Delano hosted the career day and the NKSP recruiters were on hand to help students make informed choices.

“Working at CDCR is more than just another job, this is a career,” said Warden Kevin Hixon. “The recruiting staff shared with the students the many opportunities that CDCR has to offer. The students were also given the opportunity to talk to the recruiters. We hope that this will spark an interest and assist them to move along their career path.”
