Incendio, a Latin-based world-fusion band featuring Liza Carbe on bass, guitar and vocals, with guitarist Jean Pierre Durand, performed for three days at Avenal State Prison.
The band has been together for over two decades and bring a unique blend of music combining “exemplary guitar playing, catchy melodies, dynamic arrangements and fiery performances.”
Audience members were allowed to make requests and ask questions of the performers. Several incarcerated audience members, who are part of their own band on Facility E, said the appearance reinforced their passion for music.
