Retired Correctional Officer Dale Castro passed away April 16, 2023.
Castro began his CDCR career at the Substance Abuse Treatment Facility in June 2002. He transferred to Kern Valley State Prison in November 2005, where he remained until retiring in July 2022.
“We extend our most sincere condolences to Dale’s family. He will be greatly missed by all,” according to a statement issued by the institution.
