Recruiters will attend markets during summer
CDCR and CCHCS staff from were on hand to answer questions and greet the public at the June 3 Galt Market and Safety Expo. Participating staff came from California Medical Facility, Richard A. McGee Correctional Training Center (CTC), and the Northern Transportation Hub (NTH).
This event features shopping, food, and family friendly entertainment.
CTC Academy instructor Sgt. J. Tackett enjoyed the event.
“I love that we get to meet people from the community that we work in,” Tackett said.
Sgt. T. Dunham thanked department staff for collaborating with Galt city officials.
CDCR recruitment staff will attend the next Galt Saturday Market on July 1 and plan to attend the rest of the scheduled markets.
The Market is held the first Saturday of the month, March through November, on 4th Street in downtown Galt. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
