Agustin Alvarez Cortes, a Materials & Stores Supervisor I (M&SSI), passed away Sept. 1, 2023. He began his CDCR career in February 2017 at California State Prison-Solano as an M&SSI.
In May 2020, he transferred to California Medical Facility (CMF), where he remained until his passing.
“Agustin was highly respected by his peers and a well-loved member of the CMF family,” according to a statement issued by the institution. “Please keep the Alvarez Cortes family in your thoughts and prayers. Agustin will be greatly missed by all of us here.”
