DAPO attends National Night Out

Division of Adult Parole Operations (DAPO) South Coast District staff participated in the City of Orange National Night Out. This annual event engages the community and acknowledges all safety stakeholders that provide a service to the public. The South Coast District partnered with the City of Orange and Orange Police Department to promote community safety.

DAPO staff attending the event included:

  • Director Jason Johnson
  • Parole Agent III Yvette Llerena
  • Parole Agent III Karen Reed
  • Parole Agent I Steven Truong
  • Parole Agent I Frank Stokes
  • and District Administrator I Rajesh Talwar.

Agents engaged with the community and gave children donated items from PAI Steven Truong. Children even experienced being in a marked DAPO vehicle. DAPO was able to provide information on the valuable resources and services they offer.

Special thanks to PAI Steven Truong for coordinating the event with the Orange Police Department and providing colorful donations for the children.

“It was a great experience and nice to see staff representing DAPO in a professional manner. This event put us on the map with the community and other stakeholders. The smiles from the youth and parents’ faces when interacting with staff was priceless,” said Director Johnson.
