Chuckawalla Valley State Prison (CVSP) reported the passing of Evelyn Smith, a retired Correctional Case Records Analyst.
She began her career with the department in October 1997 as an office assistant (typing) in the records department at CVSP.
In November 2004, she promoted to Office Services Supervisor I. Shen then promoted to office technician (typing) in November 2005. She promoted again in December 2006 to Correctional Case Records Analyst.
She remained at CVSP until she retired in March 2021.
“We extend our condolences to Evelyn’s family, loved ones and friends,” according to a statement issued by CVSP.
