Our Promise kicks off in Rancho Cordova

The CDCR Correctional Policy Research and Internal Oversight (CPRIO) Our Promise campaign kicked off at the Birkmont campus in Rancho Cordova.

The Nov. 14 event featured representatives from various nonprofit organizations, giving employees a chance to learn more about how contributions help.

CPRIO Director Chris Chambers and Office of Appeals Associate Director Howard Moseley spoke about their commitment to the Our Promise mission. The event wrapped up with food from Authentic Street Taco.

Nonprofit organizations attending the Rancho Cordova Our Promise event included:

  • Albie Aware Breast Cancer Foundation
  • Sacramento Children’s Home
  • Savings Plus
  • ShepHeroes
  • United Way
  • and Women’s Empowerment.
