
Deborah Depano, a personnel specialist with California Institution for Men, passed away Dec. 10, 2023.
Depano began her state career as Assistant Chief, Building and Grounds, with the California Conservation Corps in July 2009.
In December 2018, she began working at California Institution for Men as an office technician.
Then, in July 2021, she promoted to personnel specialist, where she remained until her passing.
“Our sincerest condolences are extended to her family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time. She will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing and working side by side with her. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family. Information regarding funeral services will be forthcoming,” according to a statement issued by the institution.
