Vincent “Vinny” Garcia, an electrician II at Avenal State Prison, passed away July 23, 2024.
He began his CDCR career in November 2021 at Avenal where he remained until his passing.
“Vincent was respected by his peers and a well-loved member of the Avenal State Prison family. He will be missed by all. We extend our most sincere condolences to Vincent’s family, friends, and loved ones,” according to a statement issued by the institution.
He is survived by his wife and four children.
