Marvin McIntyre, a retired sergeant from California Medical Facility in Vacaville, passed away March 10, 2023. He was 66 years old.

McIntyre retired in 2007 after 23 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mattie Welch-McIntyre, and his sister, Linda McIntyre Barlin. He is survived by two children, three grandchildren, and six siblings.
Services were held March 24, 2023, at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church in Sacramento with burial at Sacramento Memorial Lawn.
