Central California Women’s Facility (CCWF) Warden Anissa De La Cruz hosted the Little Angels Service Pups Parade to spread holiday cheer.
Led by Correctional Counselor Daniel Johnson, the pups toured the administration building Dec. 20. Then, three days later, they toured the housing units and skilled nursing facility to spread holiday cheer to the incarcerated population.
“Our pups, who were dressed to impress for the holiday parade, walked proudly wagging their tales,” said organizers.
The pups range from 26 to 78 lbs. There were smiles everywhere the pups traveled. According to organizers, the CCWF pups were well behaved on their holiday parade.
CCWF staff donated the sweaters for the dogs.
“I am always impressed by the generosity of the CCWF staff during the year and especially during the holidays,” Johnson said. “It makes me proud to work here and be part of this team.”
