Tiffany Moreno, a retired personnel supervisor, passed away Feb. 1, 2025, after 19 years of state service. She retired Dec. 30, 2024.

She began her state career at the Department of Transportation in July 2005.
She was promoted to personnel specialist in August 2006. Later, she transferred to Salinas Valley State Prison, promoting to personnel supervisor in January 2018.
After years of dedicated service, Moreno retired from state service in late December.
“Tiffany’s contributions to our team and her commitment to public service will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of working with her. Please join me in extending our condolences to her family and loved ones during this difficult time,” according to a statement issued by the institution.
Services for Tiffany Moreno will be held at 1 p.m., Feb. 7, at Venture Church, 320 Church St., Salinas.
This will be followed by a celebration of life reception at 4 p.m. at 615 El Camino Real in Greenfield.
