Jorge Aldaco, a correctional officer at the Substance Abuse Treatment Facility (SATF) and State Prison at Corcoran, passed away Feb. 4, 2025.

Aldaco began his career with the department as a cadet at the Richard A. McGee Correctional Training Center in November 2018.
After graduating the Basic Correctional Officer Academy, Aldaco reported to SATF as a correctional officer.
At the time of his passing, he worked in the investigative services unit.
“Officer Aldaco was well respected. He had a great personality and was always willing to assist anyone. Officer Aldaco will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Our sincerest condolences are offered to his family,” according to a statement issued by SATF.
Information regarding funeral services is not yet available.
