Lorena Olague, a licensed clinical social worker at California Institution for Men (CIM), passed away April 17, 2025.

She began her career at CIM in Chino in October 2013. In March 2015, she laterally transferred to California State Prison, Los Angeles County.
She returned to CIM in December 2015, where she remained until her untimely passing.
“Lorena will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing and working side by side with her. Our sincerest condolences to her family and friends during this difficult time,” according to a statement issued by CIM.
Visitation will be held May 20 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Oakdale Mortuary, 1401 S. Grand Ave., Glendora.
A funeral service will be held May 21 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Saint Frances of Rome Church, 501 E. Foothill Blvd., Azusa. A committal service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the Oakdale Mortuary & Memorial Park, 1401 S. Grand Ave., Glendora.
