Jabari Chapman, a registered nurse at Folsom State Prison, passed away April 18, 2025.
Chapman began his career with California Correctional Health Care Services at the Correctional Training Facility at Soledad in December 2012.
He then transferred to California Health Care Facility in Stockton in September 2013.
Three years later, he transferred to Folsom State Prison, where he remained until his passing.
Chapman is survived by his wife of 24 years, Lanaya, and four children.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
