“Many knew Zachary both personally and professionally. Zachary was respected by his peers and a well-loved member of the MCSP family. Zachary was a good friend, partner, and a good human being. Zachary’s absence will be profoundly felt by all who knew him,” according to a statement issued by MCSP. “We extend our most sincere condolences to Officer Bennett’s family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time.”
