Harry Yenor, a retired correctional officer, passed away March 23, 2025. He worked for the department for 17 years.

Yenor began his career with the department as a cadet at the Basic Correctional Officer Academy in June 1984.
After graduating, he reported to California Medical Facility in Vacaville where he remained until retiring in August 2001.
“Our sincerest condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time,” according to the institution.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., May 23, at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon.
