North Kern State Prison (NKSP) is mourning the passing of Dental Assistant Gabriela Rodriguez.
She worked nearly 11 years with CDCR until her untimely passing on July 15, 2025. Services will be held Aug. 7-8 (details below).
She began her career at NKSP in December 2014 as a dental assistant.
“Gabriela touched the lives of many and was a dedicated colleague and friend. She was highly respected by her peers and a well-loved member of the NKSP family. At this time of mourning, please keep the Rodriguez family in your thoughts and prayers,” according to the institution.
Services will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery, 2739 Panama Lane, in Bakersfield. Viewing is Aug. 7 from 4 to 8 p.m. while the funeral is Aug. 8 at 10 a.m.
