Pleasant Valley State Prison’s (PVSP) Employee Action Committee has been hard at work fundraising to help boost staff morale.
Thanks to the committee, PVSP continues to offer events for staff and their families. Recently, they did a bacon-wrapped hotdog sale, which was a huge hit with staff.
Then the committee hosted a bowling tournament with teams representing various PVSP areas. According to those who attended, it was a friendly but fierce competition.
The committee is committed to its goal to support staff and family events. Members want to show staff are more than just a number.
“We see all of them as part of this family,” according to the committee.
