Adani Stephens, a retired correctional officer, passed away Dec. 25, 2025. Services will be held Jan. 20.

He started his career with the department in March 2001.
After working at Salinas Valley State Prison and California State Prison-Los Angeles County, he retired from state service in July 2008.
“Our deepest sympathy goes out to his family and loved ones. Adani will be missed by his fellow co-workers and all who know him,” according to the institution.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Jan. 20 at 44831 Cedar Ave. in Lancaster.
