Kindra Aguilar, a licensed vocational nurse (LVN) at the Correctional Training Facility (CTF) in Soledad, passed away Jan. 31, 2026.

Services will be held Feb. 23.
She began her distinguished career with the department at CTF in June 2012 as an LVN. She remained in this role at CTF until her untimely passing.
Throughout her years of service, Aguilar was known as a kind, dedicated, and hardworking professional who carried herself with integrity, professionalism, and genuine care for others.
“Kindra will be remembered by her colleagues for her reliability, teamwork, positive attitude, and the quiet strength and support she brought to the workplace each day. Outside of work, Kindra was a devoted wife and a loving mother of two. She cherished spending time with her family and greatly enjoyed being involved in her children’s sporting events,” according to CTF. “Her warmth and dedication to both her family and her career left a lasting impression on those who knew her.”
A celebration of life will be held from 2 to 6 p.m., Monday, Feb. 23, at the Veterans Memorial Building, 90 Fifth St., Spreckels.
