Craig Cline, a retired Centinela State Prison correctional officer, passed away Feb. 4, 2026.

Cline began his career with CDCR as a cadet in November 1993 at the Richard A. McGee Correctional Training Center.
After graduating the Basic Correctional Officer Academy, he reported to Centinela State Prison.
Cline worked at Centinela for 26 years until retirement in May 2019.
“Craig was a hard worker, a good partner, and easy to get along with. He will be missed and not forgotten. We extend our deepest sympathies and condolences to Craig’s family, loved ones, and friends during this difficult time,” according to the institution.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m., Friday, March 6, at El Camino Memorial-Sorrento Valley, 5600 Carrol Canyon Road, in San Diego.
