CDCR Undersecretary of Operations Jason Johnson recently visited the Correctional Training Facility (CTF) at Soledad to meet with staff, tour the institution, and observe operations and rehabilitative programming throughout the facility.
During the visit, Johnson met with executive staff and employees from multiple disciplines to discuss institutional operations, rehabilitation efforts, and the daily responsibilities carried out throughout the institution. Johnson toured several areas of the facility, providing him the opportunity to engage directly with employees and gain firsthand insight into operations at CTF.

Throughout the tour, staff highlighted the institution’s ongoing efforts to promote a safe and secure environment while expanding rehabilitative opportunities and positive programming for the incarcerated population.
Discussions also focused on the professionalism and teamwork demonstrated by staff in support of the department’s mission.

Acting Warden Cyndee Rojas thanked Undersecretary Johnson for taking the time to visit the institution and engage with staff.
“Visits such as this provide an important opportunity to showcase the professionalism and dedication of our employees,” said Rojas. “Our staff work hard every day to maintain the safety and security of the institution while continuing to support rehabilitation and positive change.”

Johnson also acknowledged the commitment demonstrated by CTF employees during his visit and expressed appreciation for the work being performed at the institution.
