California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS) is mourning the loss of Reginald Hall-Beasley, a current staff member who passed away Sept. 25, 2026.
Hall-Beasley, a supervisor II, started his career with the state in 2008. A decade later, he joined CCHCS where he served as a program manager in Human Resources.
“He was an expert in the areas he managed, particularly regarding EEO (Equal Employment Opportunity). Our dear friend and colleague impacted many people with his kindness and compassion. He was an advocate for underserved communities,” according to CCHCS.
To honor and celebrate his life and memories, a celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m., Oct. 30, at the Pavilion at Elk Grove Park, 9950 Elk Grove-Florin Road, Elk Grove.
In his memory, his family requested attendees wear red, black, gold or any San Francisco 49ers gear to represent his favorite colors and sports team.
