CCJBH Feedback Response to the U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness’ Federal Strategic Plan

USICH logo

The U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness is in the process of updating the Federal Strategic Plan to Prevent and End Homelessness and is requesting input from people who are part of the response to homelessness, people who have a vested interest in ending homelessness, and people with lived experience.

CCJBH recently developed a feedback response with specific considerations for the behavioral health and justice involved (BH/JI) population. The response includes feedback from CCJBH Councilmembers, system partners, and stakeholders in an attempt to develop a comprehensive response that outlines the specific barriers the BH/JI population face in regards to accessing and maintaining affordable housing.

The formal response can be found here.
