Week 4 – National Recovery Month Resources

The Council on Criminal Justice and Behavioral Health (CCJBH) has celebrated Recovery Awareness Month throughout the month of September by hosting a variety of educational webinars to honor individuals who are in recovery and the families who provide support.

We are pleased to announce that the webinar closing this month’s series is on recovery services. Please plan to join us on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, from 12:00-1:00 PM, as we feature a presentation on the aftercare recovery services provided by the Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Programs in Riverside County.

As a reminder, SAMHSA’s Office of Recovery serves as a national clearinghouse and resource for recovery services across the mental health, substance use, and co-occurring domains to promote recovery by working in partnership with recovery community leaders. The Office is dedicated to evaluating and initiating policy, programs and services with a recovery focus and ensuring the voices of individuals in recovery are represented. Offering support to those with mental health needs who are experiencing substance use disorders can make a huge difference in their lives. Together we can help others realize the promise of recovery and give families the right support to help their loved ones.
Please note that free, confidential help is available 24 hours a day through SAMHSA’s National Helpline, 1-800-662-HELP (4357) or 1-800-487-4889 (TDD).
