Description

The meeting will feature best practices in restorative justice for juveniles with behavioral health needs, including presentations from the Marin Youth Court and the Kings Canyon Unified School District Restorative Justice Program. Additionally, the Collaborative Justice Courts Advisory Committee of the Judicial Council of California will share the Youth Court Toolkit, which gives guidance to jurisdictions seeking to start or improve youth and peer courts and discuss the partnership between the Judicial Council and the California Association of Youth Courts to hold an annual Youth Court Summit.
