This meeting will provide an overview of the 988/Crisis Continuum of Care, focusing on how
California is transforming its approach to behavioral health crisis response. The presentation will
cover the process and partnerships in creating the draft five-year plan for AB 988 implementation,
which provides recommendations for a comprehensive 988-crisis system in California. Topics will
include service coordination, mobile crisis intervention, integration with local resources, and
anticipated impact on behavioral health services and law enforcement partnerships across the state.
