As the 2020 CDCR Our Promise charitable campaign comes to an end, Division of Adult Institutions Director Connie Gipson is challenging all CDCR staff to donate a minimum of $5 dollars per month. Employees also have the option of making a one-time donation to a nonprofit organization that means a lot to you.

“There is no doubt this year’s Our Promise Campaign is different from years before. However, our staff always find ways to give back to their communities,” Gipson said. “We recognize some nonprofit organizations need funds more than ever, and with that we ask our staff if you’re able to give, give where your heart is.”

Our Promise is a voluntary program in which state workers can make one-time or ongoing contributions via payroll deductions. This year’s campaign is 100 percent online, and the Donor Portal can be accessed via Cal Employee Connect.
