A Wasco State Prison-Reception Center sergeant was honored on Memorial Day for his service to our country.
A banner with Sgt. Rolando Guillermo’s military picture was created and placed on one of Porterville’s streetlights noting his service. The Navy member shown to the left is his nephew who is actively serving our country.
The banner will remain above the city street indefinitely. Sgt. Guillermo has 27 years of service with CDCR.
