California Correctional Institution (CCI) announced the passing of Allen Andersen. An Electrician II, Andersen passed away November 5, 2021.
He started his CDCR career at CCI in August 2015, where he remained until his untimely passing.
“Allen Andersen was a joy to work with at CCI as he was always smiling and there to lend a helping hand. Allen was also a big contributor within the community of Tehachapi and heavily involved with the local Boy Scouts,” according to a staff memo.
“CCI sends our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, coworkers and the community he touched,” the memo continued.
The institution submitted the following details regarding services in Tehachapi:
- Viewing: Tuesday, November 9, from 5-7 p.m., Woods Mortuary, 321 West F Street.
- Service: Saturday, November 13, at 10 a.m., Tehachapi Nazarene Church. Service will also be livestreamed on the church’s Facebook page.
