Retired Correctional Sergeant Mark Bradford, a 20-year department employee, passed away August 25, 2022.
Bradford began his CDCR career as a cadet at the Richard A. McGee Correctional Training Center in April 1995. After graduating the academy, he reported for duty at Pleasant Valley State Prison.
He retired in October 2015 as a sergeant, still working at Pleasant Valley State Prison.
“Mark will be greatly missed by all who worked with him. Please keep the Bradford family in your thoughts and prayers,” according to a statement issued by the institution.
Memorial services will be held Sept. 7 at 1 p.m., at Whitehurst McNamara Funeral Home in Hanford.
