Frances Ivory, a retired correctional officer, passed away May 9, 2023. She started her career with the department in August 1987 at RJ Correctional Facility.
Ivory transferred to California State Prison, Los Angeles County, in March 1993.
She resigned from the department in 1997 but reinstated in July 1999 at California Correctional Institution (CCI), where she remained until retiring in December 2019.
“CCI sends their thoughts and prayers to Frances’ family, friends and coworkers she met along her career,” according to a statement issued by the institution.
