Jonathan Franco, a correctional supervising cook at California Medical Facility, passed away July 5, 2023.
Franco was fairly new to the department, beginning his career at California Medical Facility on July 5, 2022. He spent his one-year career assigned to the Psychiatric Inpatient Program kitchen.
“Jonathan Franco was highly respected by his peers and a well-loved member of the California Medical Facility family. Our deepest condolences are extended to Jonathan’s family and friends as they mourn the loss of their loved one. He will be greatly missed,” according to a statement issued by the institution.
