Gilbert Duenas, a retired correctional officer from North Kern State Prison, passed away July 31, 2023.
“He was highly respected by his peers and a well-loved member of the NKSP family. Duenas was a trusting partner and a friend to many. He will be deeply missed by all who had the opportunity to work with him. At this time of mourning, please keep the Duenas family in your thoughts and prayers,” according to a statement issued by North Kern State Prison.
