Eva Rangel, a correctional case records analyst, passed away Jan. 10, 2024.
She began her career with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation in February 2005 at Valley State Prison. Ten years later, she transferred to Duel Vocational Institution in July 2015. Rangel then transferred to California Health Care Facility in June 2016, where she remained until her passing.
“Eva will be greatly missed by all who knew her and worked with her over the past years,” according to a statement issued by the institution.
