Sgt. T. Dunham, left, and Lisa Hamrick were honored as recruiters of the month at the Correctional Training Center.

Two CDCR staff members have been recognized as Recruiters of the Month for December: Sgt. Timothy Dunham and Staff Services Manager Lisa Hamrick. Both are with the Richard A. McGee Correctional Training Center in Galt.

The Training Center recruitment team attended over 65 events in 2023, with almost half of those occurring since October.

Recruitment events they participated in included:

  • Galt community events
  • Academy graduations
  • Sacramento Kings games
  • Sac State Athletics
  • and virtual career fairs.

“The dedication of Sgt. Dunham and Ms. Hamrick lead the Correctional Training Center recruitment team to be one of the top five in the state. I am proud of our team of over 30 staff and their contributions to recruitment efforts. I am looking forward to seeing what they will accomplish in 2024,” said Capt. G. Petty.
