Victor Soto, a supervising registered nurse II with Pleasant Valley State Prison, passed away June 4, 2024.

Soto began his career CDCR in June 2010 as a registered nurse (RN) at Wasco State Prison. He then transferred to Corcoran State Prison in July 2011.
He remained at Corcoran until he promoted to supervising registered nurse II at Pleasant Valley State Prison in March 2018.
“Victor will be greatly missed by all who have worked with him. Please keep the Soto family in your thoughts and prayers,” according to a statement issued by the institution.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 25, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 608 N. Church St., Visalia, at 10 a.m.
