Staff at California State Prison, Los Angeles County (LAC), were treated to snow cones and popcorn during a recent staff appreciation event.
“Custody and health care staff from the employee association worked together to give out snow cones and popcorn to their hard-working staff, including those working second and third watch,” reported organizers. “This was a great effort and involved collaboration from both sides and was a great success with lots of smiling faces. Overall, LAC gave out hundreds of snow cones of various flavors along with bags of fresh-popped popcorn to staff. We hope to host more collaborative events in the future.”
